It was a "blink-and-you'll-miss-it'" kind of race night in more ways than one at the Estevan Motor Speedway on Friday.

While the features in the stock car and modified divisions zoomed right along, the same was almost true for the hobbystock feature until the final four laps.

Coming out of turn #4 in front of the grandstands, Byron Fichter's 'Warshark' car came loose and partially struck Karen Parachoniak's #22 on the straight-away. That caused Fichter's to flip, land on the roof, and flip back onto its' wheels.

Following The CrashEmergency crews came out to the scene immediately, with the collision occuring ironically enough on 'Emergency Services Night' at the Speedway. Both drivers would be ok, however both vehicles suffered extensive damage.

The Hobbystock feature was called with four laps remaining following the collision, resulting in Zach Lutz claiming the feature victory as he was leading the pack at the time of the accident.

The other two features were raced with largely no stoppages as Jeremy Swanson claimed the Energy Electric Stock Car feature while Jett Big Eagle won the Kendall's Supply Modified feature.

The next racing at the Estevan Motor Speedway is the 4th Annual Calcutta night on August 19th.
