It will be a tough mountain to climb for the young Estevan Voltz as they are up against the undefeated Moosejaw Mustangs in Wednesday's semifinal showdown.

Following their playoff victory on Sunday, the Voltz knew a win would give them the chance to take down those Mustangs. Head Coach Trevor Mcnabb explained, the preparation started right away.

"They're definitely a tough team with a good developmental program in Moosejaw. A lot of our practices as of late have been designed to defend against their strong offence."

"We've been working hard in the offensive zone to create better scoring opportunities, while putting in the work to try our best to stop them on defence."

He shared that Moosejaw's ability to move the ball around quickly is what makes them so successful.

"The balls on their stick for only a few seconds and they're looking for the next play. Its something were also striving to do," Mcnabb concluded.

A win in tonight's game would catapult the Peewee squad into the League Championship game on Sunday, while a loss would have them playing for third place.

Game time is set for 6 at Al Ritchie in Regina.
