HIGHLIGHTS:

On a wild Sunday night inside the Redvers Rec Centre, the steady and stellar play of Bienfait's Jackson Walliser helped steer the Coalers to an 8-4 road victory over the Rockets.

Redvers captain Jordon Miller kicked off the scoring in the first period with his 2nd of the season, staking the Rockets to an early 1-0 lead.

However, the Coalers would respond with three straight goals from Derian Pratt (1) on the powerplay, followed by markers from Hunter Piche (3) and captain Kyle Garagan (1) to take a 3-1 lead into the intermission.

The Rockets would cut the lead down to 3-2 after Dakota Rose banged home his 1st of the year. Shortly thereafter, Redvers thought they had tied the game with a beautiful backhander by Kevin Mann top corner. However, the referees rules incidental goalie interference on Redvers as the puck went in which nullified the goal, keeping it 3-2 for Bienfait.

The Coalers regained their two goal lead after a 5-on-3 powerplay goal by Payden Benning (3). Before the period would end, Brennan Wrigley would be sprung shorthanded and roofed his first goal of the season to make it 5-2 Bienfait after 40 minutes.

Wrigley sniped his second of the night in the opening minute of the 3rd period to make it 6-2 for Bienfait. However, the Rockets would battle back with two quick goals from Francis Lamotte (1) and Cory Jones (2), cutting the Bienfait lead to 6-4.

Jordon Miller would earn a penalty shot with 14 minutes to play, but his slapshot attempt rang off the post to keep the score 6-4. Minutes later, Wrigley would sneak behind the Redvers defence yet again and blast a shot bardown past Redvers' Brodie McColl for a hat trick and a 7-4 Coalers lead. Piche (4) would add his second of the game with 15 seconds remaining as Bienfait skated away with an 8-4 victory.

Jackson Walliser made 65 saves for Bienfait in the victory, as Redvers outshot the Coalers 69-36 in the game.

Bienfait improves to 2-1 on the season, while Redvers drops to 1-2.
