The Estevan Westmoreland Peewee Bruins capped off their regular season with a bang on Friday night, outshooting the Warriors 24-20 for a 9-3 victory in Moose Jaw.

Ty Hoste got things rolling for Estevan in the first period, followed by Jordan Marcotte. By the end of the frame, Moose Jaw was able to solve Tallan Howie only once, making it 2-1.

The Warriors tied the game early in the second period, but Carson Birnie, and Sam George stepped up to add two more goals for the Bruins, while Hoste tallied his second of the night. Moose Jaw was only able to reply with one to enter the second intermission.

The third frame was all Estevan's, and Jordan Marcotte's, show. Marcotte scored three more unanswered goals as Carson Birnie added another to bring the final score to 9-3 Bruins.

Meanwhile, the Midget AA Apex Bruins also finished off their season on a high note, humbling the Notre Dame Argos 7-1 in Affinity Place.

The first period saw Dawson Schaff and Kyler Gervais net a puck each to give Estevan a 2-0 lead heading into the second frame. Around a minute in, the Argos slipped one in past netminder Logan Nagel, soon to be answered by two more from Carson Benning and Zach Ashworth, reestablishing a strong lead.

The dynamic duo fo Schaff and Gervais caged another puck each, supplemented by Kelby Widenmaier to bring the final score to 7-1. Nagel stopped 24 of 25 shots in the contest.

The Bruins now head into the first round of playoffs, facing the Swift Current Broncos for a best of five series.
