Hundreds rolled through the doors of Affinity Place on Saturday night to soak up the much anticipated event, Savour the Southeast.

From local restaurants to high-quality chefs, from Estevan's best cuisine to local music, Affinity Place was definitely the place to be on Saturday night. While the crowd enjoyed different food and beverage vendors from across the province, Justin LaBrash, League of Wolves and Fog Dog provided entertainment throughout the night.

The 3rd annual event will see 100% of this year's proceeds go directly to Envision Counselling and Support Centre.

"That's one of the unique things about Savour the Southeast, all of the proceeds do go back in the community," Julie Dzuba with Envision Counselling explained. "We are very fortunate to be the recipients, some of the things we'll be able to do is continue counselling programs in all of our offices across the south east."

As of right now, there are no totals for how much money has been raised. If last years $43,000 is any indication of what's to come, Envision Counselling and Support Centre will be thrilled with what ever they receive.

The Estevan Police Service also reported that there were no major incidents during the event, and that a handful of cars spent the night in the parking lot which they were happy to see.
