Another Labour Day long weekend rolled on past on the calendar, and it appears to have been a mild one for the Estevan Police Service.

"The weekend ran fairly smooth, as they usually do. They're a little quieter because people are trying to get in their last little bit of camping and last little bit of cabin time before school starts. This weekend we had the rodeo in the city, so members were over there interacting with the public," related Sergeant Kevin Reed.

"We had a couple of complaints called over there with individuals that they didn't want present at the rodeo, but those people were seht on their way. Other than that, it went smooth."

The EPS also helped the RCMP out with searching for a missing boy at Woodlawn, and he was quickly found.
