Emergency crews were called out around 1 pm this afternoon to the intersection of 4th Street and Kensington Avenue.

A white semi and a black pick up truck collided. The back end of the pickup truck received some damage. There is no word on injuries or the cause of the accident.

EPS, Estevan Fire and Rescues, and EMS were all on the scene with members of the EPS assisting with directing traffic. 

Drivers are asked to avoid the area while the scene is being cleared.

Update:

A semi and pick up truck were involved in a collition shortly after 1 pm today. The semi was westbound when it made contact with the eastbound pickup truck.

"Estevan fire, EMS and police were there," shared Detective Roberts with the EPS, "to investigate along with emergency services who did transport some occupants of those vehicles to hospital."

"At this point, the rest is under investigation."

He added that charges may be an outcome of the investigation but they still need to go through witness and occupants statements.
