Emergency crews were called to the scene of a collision at the intersection of Perkins Street and Highway 47 South in the early morning hours Friday morning.

One passersby described the scene this way...

"I was just headed down Perkins, and it looked like there was a couple of vehicles that crashed at the intersection there, a crew truck with a long trailer and another vehicle in the ditch that's upright. It's a little congested and busy there right now."

Sergeant Craig Bird of the Estevan Police Service asked drivers to use caution.

"We have a multi vehicle accident here at the scene. The streets are slippery this morning, so we're asking people right now just to stay away from the area and the intersection. If they can avoid this area and make other arrangements until we get the accident cleaned up and area sanded, it would be greatly appreciated."
