Kids came out and had a blast Thursday night as the Estevan Police Association and Estevan Police Service put on their 3rd annual variety show at the ECS.

"You know, it was really good. There was a lot of kids there, I think we had more than we did last year. When I was there they were all laughing and cheering, and they all wanted up on stage," shared Sergeant Evan Handley with the Estevan Police Service, who's also the President of the Estevan Police Association.

"That's exactly what we want. We wanted to have a good, fun evening for all, allow some kids to get out and see something that they don't get to see very often in Estevan, and we make some money for the community."

While the totals are not yet in, Handley revealed that somewhere around $3,500 was raised as of Thursday night. The funds will go towards the Estevan Family Center and other groups and organizations in the Energy City.

The show included Lorena and Trevor Waters making a return with a comedic magic show, magician Louie Foxx, and Richie Roy of Weyburn with his balloon animals and tricks.
