The Arcola Optimist Club held its 26th annual snowmobile rally over the weekend. Over 250 Riders suited up for a fun-filled day of riding the trails.

The lack of snow made it hard for the club to groom their own trails, they were using park trails and in the end, managed to flag a route that ended up being around 85 to 90 kilometers long.

they were also able to do well with their lottery "Overall we did really well we sold about 90% of our lottery tickets so we will be able to make our contributions to the Lampman pool project and to relocate the RV park in Arcola, we had a whole pile of groups that volunteered to help us so the day went really well"  according to the Glen, the clubs Treasury secretary

"We work with a lot of community groups and we have over 30,000$ in corporate sponsorship, we end up giving all of that out to the clubs that work with us, it certainly makes the day possible"

They're looking at continuing the tradition next year with 27th annual snowmobile rally planning on taking place on the last Saturday in January
