Paul Carol the Mayor of Bienfait, "The Waste Water Plant project went very well. We were very pleased with the contractor and the engineering and the design of it. Its quite a big project for a small town, and were substantially complete we just have to fire up the enzymes here in the spring. Once the temperatures warm up and we will see some big improvement in the handling of our wast water."

The other big structural change over the 2018 year was the pool, "Our pool has been a really big bonus for our community, we have the zero entries so it's really great for those who have a disability of any sort, and mobility issues of any type we can get them into the water. We have our spray park that is apart of that. Which is an attractive part for those hot summer days. We have some great programs, that the general public can take part in. It's good, as it's been a real bonus for our community."

To make things easier with communication in town, Carol says, "We just ratified a contract with our public works, were very happy with the contract and some definitive answers that have been answered from the past. So I think you will see a lot in the way the town and public works communicate. I think that's a bonus for everyone involved.

Even though the town has had some steps forward in upgrades, they are still looking to keep their employees safe, "The town is holding a public meeting here on Wednesday, they're looking to purchase a building to house the administrative office. We've run into some structural problems in our old building, and so we need to look at a new building. We've entered into a short term agreement, to get out of there so we can keep our people safe. But we want to hold this public meeting to discuss the purchase of the building on a more permanent basis and move forward from there. As I think its a bonus for the community as we go forward."
