Rounding out another busy day for the Estevan Fire Department, emergency crews attended an accident Tuesday evening on the North side of the city.

At around 8:45 PM, a small car blew a tire and swerved into a trucked parked along the side of the road on the 700 block of Albert Street.

"That's all it was. No major injuries, they were just checked out by medical services. Unfortunately, when an airbag hits you that's what happens," said Craig Bird of the  Estevan Police Service.

This incident follows another call earlier in the day, where fire crews responded to what appears to have been a fire alarm on Dufferin Avenue.
