It just wasn't meant to be.

The Power Dodge Estevan Bruins fell 2-1 to the Nipawin Hawks in game seven of the SJHL finals on Tuesday night.

Tied at 1-1 in the third, Nipawin was able to capitalize on a 5-on-3 man advantage to grab the lead. The Hawks would hold on despite a major push back from the Bruins late in the third period.

The Hawks now move on to play the MJHL's Steinbach Pistons in the Anavet Cup.
