As the CNATCA Trade, Technology and Transportation conference continues at Southeast College, attendees are getting a large load of education on a wide range of topics.

"I think it's gone great. The audience is engaged, the topics are really relevant and current. We're just trying to move this thing forward one step at a time, and this is a great starting place," shared Ron Hall, the Board Chair for CNATCA.

He noted that the highlight, and perhaps most important subject discussed thus far, has been change.

"The changes that are coming are getting sharper focus, and the impacts of those things on real jobs, the economy and so on, and how do you prepare for that in response. It's at gatherings like this where you bounce ideas off of other people, hear their perspectives and what they see. You always learn something new and get a new idea."

"It's understanding this technology and the broad scope of it, and how it's going to really impact your daily life in your house and your professional life. Doesn't matter if you're in the service industry or out manufacturing something or growing something, this is going to be pervasive," he added.

Hall also expressed that Estevan will prove to be a key location in the future when it comes to trade and technology.
