Tears of joy and gratefulness were shed on Saturday, as the Choose Life Ministry held their first ever graduation program.

Friends, family and supporters filled the Living Hope Community Church to celebrate Sarah's emergence from addiction and other life issues through the program, while she shared her story and provided encouragement for others.

"She came to us as a single mom, struggling with drugs and alcohol. We were able to help her through some of those issues and get her back on a path that will help her become one of the greatest mums out there," said Founder and VP, Shelley Boyes, with a smile.

Sarah was surrounded by family at the event.

"I certainly cannot take a lot of credit for what's happened here, I just want to give all glory to God, because He's the one who's changed her. He just gave us sort of the tools to help her," she said, adding, "It's a momentous day for us."

The young lady presented from the platform with her three children, parents, friends and other family in attendance.

The Choose Life program takes in women struggling with life controlling issues ranging from abuse to drugs and alcohol, for six months at a time, and assists and mentors them into a better life.
