The Estevan Police Service is in the middle of investigating the accident that occurred earlier this morning on the east side of the City.

"There were, fortunately, no injuries...but one of the vehicles had to be towed off of the scene," shared Sergeant Craig Bird, "We're just in the midst of talking to the drivers of both vehicles here to find out exactly what happened."

He added that they expect to have a final conclusion later in the day. However, at this point, a few details are pretty clear.

"It appears that a vehicle had read ended a vehicle that was turning onto the service road. One of the drivers obviously wasn't paying as much attention as they should have when driving, but the matter is still under investigation at this point.

DiscoverEstevan will provide an update as it is released later today.
