There are a few construction projects to take note of today.

A water main replacement project has started today on the 600 block of Arthur Avenue.

"There will be no through traffic including the alley," shared City Safety Officer, Helen Fornwald.

The east sidewalk will remain open. However, pedestrians are advised to use caution as it is still a work zone. This work is expected to last approximately one month.

"Today, King Street west from Kohaly Avenue to Sister Roddy Road is closed due to crack filling."

A detour has been set up along Nicholson Road.

"As well, today McCormick Crescent is closed including the south sidewalk due to a water replacement. The public is requested to avoid this area until the construction work has been completed."

"Remember to use caution when driving in construction zones."
