After multiple weeks of delay, many producers were able to return to the field and complete harvest.

Thanks to the warm and dry weather last week, producers have now seen 92% of the 2018 crop harvested, with 95% complete here in the southeast.

Little to no rainfall was reported across the province. Topsoil moisture conditions are relatively unchanged over the past few weeks.

While many producers have wrapped up harvest or expect to in the coming days, the rest will need at least another week or more of warm and dry weather.

Crop damages reported this past week were mainly due to lodging, bleaching, and sprouting.

A final crop report will be released November 8 to capture any additional harvest progress and to summarize the crop year.
