UPDATE:

Michelle and Victor Omoriyi both had their cases adjourned to January 8th, 2018. Neil Goertzen will appear again in the Estevan Courthouse on December 11th. And Debra Hamman will also have her matter heard on January 8th.

There will be a few appearances of note this morning at the Estevan Provincial Courthouse. 

Michelle Omoriyi will make another appearance. She is charged with one count of human smuggling and one count of conspiracy to commit human smuggling. She will be joined by her husband Victor Omoriyi, who is set to make his first appearance in Estevan after being deported from the United States. He recently completed a 6 month sentence for human smuggling after pleaded guilty to harbouring and transporting an alien in Fargo, North Dakota. 

Neil Goertzen, of Regina is facing charges of possession and trafficking a controlled substance as well as firearms charges. He arrested after a traffic stop near Frobisher on October 6th along with Marian Ellson who recently appeared in court on November 30th. She will be heading to a Queen's Bench trial. No trail date has been set. 

Debra Hamman will also make an appearance. She was charged with Impaired Driving Causing Death, Drive While Over .08 causing Death and Dangerous Driving Causing Death as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred at the junction of Highways 18 and 39, west of Bienfait on June 24, 2017. One passenger was injured and the driver, Bisho Kalappurakkal of Estevan, was killed.
