It takes a lot of work to pull off an event such as the Canada Cup. And they wouldn't be able to do it without a dedicated group of hardworking volunteers.

"We have an amazing group of volunteers for the Canada Cup this year," shared Pam Dechief, Event Services and Accreditation Coordinator. "We have over 186 volunteers who all signed up before October 1st. Our people in Estevan and area are dedicated to volunteering."

"We also have some volunteers that volunteer with Curling Canada and they have come from different parts of Saskatchewan and different parts of Canada. So we welcome those people to Estevan as well."

"The curling was fantastic. These teams that are here are the best in Canada. There are almost 20 Olympians out there curling and that is something for them to be here in Estevan with us."
