A vehicle stolen from Estevan had members of the Estevan Police Service busy recently.

"The vehicle was reported stolen," explained Sgt Evan Handley with the Estevan Police Service, "between 6:30 pm on June 26 and 6:30 am on the morning of June 27."

They were advised that the vehicle was located Wednesday afternoon at around 2:05 pm by the RCMP near Bienfait by the Highway 39A overpass.

"Just remind people to lock your vehicle and take your keys out of the vehicle. Take all your belongings out of the vehicle that has value to them i.e. your wallet, your passport, all those kinds of things. Because unfortunately, vehicles do get stolen and we don't want to see you losing stuff that is valuable and very important to you."

The investigation into this matter is still ongoing.
