The relatively mild week continued overnight for the Estevan Police Service, with only a few calls to attend to.

"We received a theft of a mountain bike reported to us last night. The complainant had left their bike insecure outside a business while they went in to go shopping. When they came out, it was missing. That matter is still under investigation," shared Sergeant Kevin Reed.

"We also received a driving complaint in relation to a vehicle. The caller indicated that they wanted to remain anonymous and wasn't interested in providing a statement, so the police were unable to take any action on that complaint."

A number of residence checks were also conducted, making sure that those on curfew were where they were supposed to.

During Thursday's dayshift, members attended to a noise complaint at a south end residence, and the homeowner was warned.

A man was arrested on outstanding warrants and released with a new court date, and another was arrested and released, wanted by a Saskatchewan RCMP detachment.

On Wednesday, officers got a report regarding the theft of Natural Gas from a north end residence, and the incident is now under investigation. Mischief to a vehicle is also being looking into.
