While rain overnight put a damper many activities, the Estevan Police Service still had a few calls to attend to throughout the night shift.

"Members were called to a domestic (dispute) at a residence in the Bannatyne Avenue area. As a result of investigation, a 25 year old Estevan female has been charged with assault causing bodily harm, resist arrest, and assault PO (assaulting a police officer)," shared Sergeant Evan Handley.

"She will be released Wednesday on a number of court ordered conditions and will appear in provincial court in December to answer to her charges."

Officers were also dispatched to a disturbance on the 500 block of King Street, however, by the time they got there the subject of the complaint had left. They also conducted patrols around the city.

During the day on Tuesday, the EPS received another report of attempted fraud. This time, the victim received an email saying that their Sasktel payment had not gone through and to contact the email writer. The victim contacted Sasktel and confirmed that the payment had gone through, and so the victim ignored the email. Another report of fraud that day involved the CRA once again. That victim also disregarded the attempt. Other items of the day included a report of uttering threats being investigated and a bike turned in that had been discovered on the south side of the city.
