The Estevan Police have released details on a significant drug bust that occurred Thursday evening. 

"The Estevan Police Service Drug/Intelligence Unit along with the assistance of the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit, conducted a drug trafficking investigation on a male and a female in the city of Estevan."

"On June 7, at approximately 5:50 p.m., the male and female were arrested in a commercial parking lot by plain clothes officers. The arrest went without incident.  The male and female were subsequently searched, which resulted in the seizure of cocaine and money."

"Following the arrest a search warrant was executed at a residence on the north side of Estevan. Further evidence was seized that supports the trafficking cocaine and hydromorphone.  A can of bear spray, machete, and a small amount of marijuana was also seized within the residence."

Vaness Remlinger, 27 and Richard Guillas, 23 of Estevan are charged with the following offences:

Trafficking cocaine 
Trafficking hydromorphone
Possession of marijuana under 30 g
Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
Possession of a prohibited weapon 
Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
