One of the most commonly occurring annoyances - and hazards - to occur to a Saskatchewan driver, roads seemingly made of ice, are popping up once again.

This is prompting local traffic law enforcement to give drivers a couple of reminders.

"Unfortunately because of the warm weather yesterday, then the temperatures dropped down to below zero again, we're just asking the motoring public to take care when they're out driving around, and leave some extra time when stopping and traveling around the city, just to prevent some accidents," said Sergeant Craig Bird.

"The City crews are out working to help remedy the issue, but until that happens, we're just asking drivers to take extra cautions."

The RCMP is also echoing the same statements, with Sergeant Jeff Clarke noting,"If people give themselves extra time this morning and slow down, travel on the roads in an appropriate manner, they should be okay."
