The Estevan Art Gallery and Museum host a Family Art Program every Thursday morning throughout the year.

Karly Garnier the Education and Outreach Program Coordinator, "Every Thursday morning we have Family Art, its a program for parents and toddlers its ages 18 months and up. It's a hands-on art program where we have kids come in and they do crafts and parents participate with them. Its Thursday mornings from 10-10:30 am."

Yesterday they had some Valentine crafts ready for the family to join, "We were making a heart-shaped owl for valentine's day, most of our crafts this month are Valentine themed or winter themed."

"They can always give me a call here at the gallery, its 634-7644 or they can email me at educator@eagm.ca. We also encourage people to like our facebook page, it's a great place to keep updated on what's going on, or they can check out our website at www.estevanartgallery.org."

The Gallery is gaining traction with many families attending, "We're actually thinking of expanding our Family Art to Friday mornings as well, just to be able to get a lot of people in, I know a lot of kids are in pre-school Thursday mornings so we encourage people to keep an eye out for that, as it will be on our facebook page as well. And you will see posters about it around the city. I'm hoping for April to expand the program to Friday's as well."

If you would like to see your child's creativity grow, the Gallery is looking to accommodate.
