Estevan Fire and Rescue had a quiet week up till yesterday. Deputy Fire Chief Rick Davies shares, "We were dispatched to a minor 2 vehicle collision just off of King Street. EMS and City Police did attend, EFR crews arrived and isolated both vehicles and I'm sure the incident is still under investigation by the City Police."

They also were dispatched to a dumpster fire in the central part of the city around noon yesterday. It was a minor fire in a dumpster and the firefighters got the fire out quickly.

Deputy Chief Davies also adds an incident from this morning, "Early this morning, we were dispatched to a CO alarm in a residential occupancy on the northeast end of the city. Crews arrived, we did test for Carbon Monoxide, no readings were found, inspection of the detector determined it was faulty."
