Estevan Fire and Rescue were dispatched to a number of calls over the weekend.

"We had one call to a residential fire alarm in the north-central area of the city," shared Fire Chief, Dale Feser. "When we arrived, it was found to be a cooking-related issue so the Fire Department was released from the scene."

"Later on in the early morning hours of Monday morning, we were toned out at approximately 1:00 am to a single vehicle rollover on Highway 18 approximately 20 miles west of Estevan."

"When crews arrived on the scene, they found one injured male. We assisted with EMS with patient care as well as isolating the vehicle and providing traffic control. Once everything was taken care of, we returned to the station and got back in bed about 3:30 am."

Feser added with a chuckle that it made for a short sleep.
