Though it wasn't as substantial as the rainfall seen in recent weeks, Tuesday evening still saw a thorough drenching in the Estevan area.

"Looks like 11 millimeters in one hour, which is not unsubstantial, that's a lot of rain to get within an hour. That was the total that came in, and it looked like you got another little sprinkle, so total for the past 24 hours is 11.2 millimeters," stated Environment Canada's Warning Preparedness Meteorologist, Terri Laing.

Looking at the next couple days, she noted that there may be a little more rain in the forecast until the weekend, with latter not expecting to see anything significant.

Laing added that people are most likely a little more alert to the weather after the recent severe weather, and it would be a good idea to remain in that mindset for the next little while.
