The Estevan Kinnettes have had quite a busy 2017 with many successful events and projects throughout the year.

A major highlight of their year was the new year-round, outdoor rink they opened in partnership with the Estevan Kinsmen. Susan Colbow, a member of the Kinnettes stated that "the opening of the rink at the Kin Park was huge...[it] has been in the works for quite a few years now and to actually see it come to fruition... that was probably the highlight of the year."

Currently, the ice in the park has been laid and the rink is now open to the public! Susan also mentioned that it was great to see the project they worked on for so long with the Kinsmen and the community was "great[ly] needed in the city" and is now being fully appreciated.

The Kinnettes are extremely involved in the community and have an abundance of events coming up for the new year including much awaited 'Princess and Pirate Ball' After the success of the previous two years, the Kinnettes hope for a great event in 2018. The ball is an event coming up at the end of January that is used to raise funds for Cystic Fibrosis. According to Susan, the Kinnettes are "looking, hopefully, to sell out that event again."
