A search warrant on a rural property in the RM of Benson resulted in an arrest relating to crimes throughout three provinces. 

"We entered into an investigation back in December," shared Cpl Craig Park, "And through the investigation, we executed a search warrant at a rural property in the RM of Benson. That was on January 25th."

"As a result of that warrant, we recovered multiple property resulting in charges. 

RCMP arrested and charged 33-year-old Mark Morison with a total of 13 charges, 11 of which were for possession under $5000 and two charges for possession of property over $5000. 

"We were able to link some of this property back to locations in Alberta, various locations in Saskatchewan and even into Manitoba."

"The two charges of property over are related to vehicles and they would have been local. The other charges were related to various property crimes. It brings closure to a lot of property crimes."

"He is the only person who has been charged right now but the investigation is ongoing."

Morison will make his first appearance on these charges on April 12 in Regina Provincial Court.
