While the 2017 Radiothon for Life was unprecedented in every way for both the organizers and the recipients of the results, the generosity of the community has by no means run out.

Donations are still coming in to support the St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation, and among the givers is the Estevan Wildlife Federation, who this week donated $500 to the group.

"We do fundraisers ourselves, we know what it's like to go out and raise money for our organization, so we decided that since people donate to us, we can turn and donate to them as well," shared Doug Hayward, the President of the Federation.

"They have a huge impact. If it wasn't for them, a lot of people would have to travel a long ways to get stuff done. It makes a big difference having the hospital here in Estevan."

He expressed that it was simply one organization donating to another.

"It's always nice to help out somebody else, because we know what it's like to have someone help us," he concluded.
