Estevan's City Council convenes once again Monday night, with the potential fate of the Civic Auditorium to be decided.

Two reports: the one commissioned by council from WSP Global, and one from contractor C.A Reed & Associates, will be examined once more and a decision most likely made.

Also, a Signage Policy for Leisure Services from Marketing and Tourism will be discussed, updating items regarding posting and such in the Leisure Center.

Two bylaws will see their second and third readings, including one to establish an Economic Development Board, and the updating of the Mutual Aid Agreement with surrounding towns and RM's.

"I think they're both good bylaws. We've got a new Economic Development Officer, Dwight Bramble, and he's doing a great job for us. We just wanted to review and update it and make it current so that it's more applicable to the way the Economic board is running right now," explained Mayor Roy Ludwig, adding that it is a similar situation with the Mutual Aid.
