The Festival Of Trees was a great success this year raising $22,000 more than last year with a total was of $160,000. The Festival started off the weekend was their Seniors Tea, which had a delightful turnout, and gave the senior community of Estevan the opportunity to see some old friends, hear live music from the Caragana Ramblers, and see all of the beautiful decorations.

Another returning event was Breakfast With Santa, which had an increase in attendance this year and is always a fun community event to enjoy. Their newest event, Candy Cane Lane had wonderful results and a lot of positive feedback to build off of in future years, everyone who came out enjoyed Chris Henderson’s music and the many different desserts and drinks we have to serve.

And finally, with a sold-out crowd, the Gala Dinner ended the month of November with a fantastic evening. People have been raving about the delicious dinner that was served by A Little Taste of Heaven Catering. The live entertainment this year, Spenny and the Jets, started off the evening with a relaxed vibe, then moved into some exciting covers which had everyone on the dance floor begging for more by the end of the night. The Live Auction was their biggest ever, selling their first-ever overseas trip to Dublin Ireland.

"Our trees this year were all designated to different departments in the Hospital and they sold for a total of $32,000," Travis Frank with the St. Joseph Hospital Foundation shared, "so that made a great profit for us and all that money will be designated to the various departments it was brought in for."

The St. Joseph Hospital Foundation is thankful for all the support from their sponsors, the buyers and all the people who came out to support the Festival Of Trees this year.
