The Fillmore RCMP Detachment has charged a man in relation to a recent break and enter in Stoughton. 

In a release, Fillmore RCMP explained that they received a call at around 1:30 am on June 23 to a complaint of a robbery in progress. 

"A male suspect had broken into the victim's residence, and while holding a household item as a weapon, demanded the victim turn over the keys to his vehicle."

"The male suspect then left the residence and stole the victim's vehicle. Fillmore RCMP responded and located the suspect on highway 33 near Creelman, Saskatchewan. The 25-year-old accused was taken into custody. RCMP recovered a second stolen vehicle in Stoughton. That vehicle had been stolen in Winnipeg earlier in the evening."

"A 25-year-old accused is facing charges of robbery with violence, break and enter a dwelling, theft of a motor vehicle, and possession of property obtained by crime over $5000.00."
