Another fire ban has been issued for parts of Saskatchewan due to dry conditions.

The ban affects all provincial parks and recreation sites, as well as crown land south of Highway 16 down to the U.S. border.

Among the provincial parks included in the ban are Buffalo Pound, Cypress Hills, Danielson, Douglas, Echo Valley, Pike Lake, and Saskatchewan Landing.

No open fires are allowed during the ban, which is in effect immediately.

Self-contained heating devices, pressurized stoves, gas barbecues, propane fire pits, or charcoal briquettes used in an approved firebox are allowed for cooking or heating.
