City councillors convene once again tonight in City Hall for another regular meeting, with a variety of items on the agenda to be discussed.

Perhaps the most notable for Estevan residents will be the presentation of the Fire Chief's inspection report on the Civic Auditorium, outlining his thoughts and concerns on the situation and condition of the structure.

Another topic will be the renewal of a Mutual Aid agreement with several surrounding towns and RMs for the event of a disaster of some sort. This is to be presented by EMO Coordinator Helen Fornwald, and a first reading of an associated bylaw will be seen as well.

That won't be the only bylaw introduced, however, as the first reading for a bylaw to establish an Economic Development Board will take place.

Another item of interest will be a Ministry of Government Relations Proposed Residential Subdivision. Council will also release their meeting schedule for 2018, while the Souris Valley Museum presents their minutes from November 15th.
