Food, fun and games for all ages alike was to be had on Saturday at the ECS, as the school's SRC hosted their winter carnival in the gymnasium for the general public.

"Overall, I'd say it went really well. There were a lot of people there to volunteer, and I'd say there were roughly 300 visitors that showed up to the event itself," shared SRC member Taylor Courteau.

"We had pictures with Santa, which went very well. We had different games such as plinko, duck racing, pin the carrot on the snowman, and 'ice fishing'."

She added that the main purpose of the occasion was to just have some Christmas fun. The SRC decided on the carnival, and opened it up to the general public as well.

"The funds will be put towards SRC and any further events that we have to run in the school," Courteau said.

"Overall, everyone had a lot of fun."
