Several notable changes have arrived with the flipping of the calender page to November.

Among those is the weather...snow, and not just a tiny skiff, made a showing to kick off the new month and give Estevan residents a taste of winter.

However, while peering down the road through the large, white flakes, you may have seen another shift. A glance at the gas stations along your route on Wednesday would have registered an increase in the price of gas.

According to GasBuddy.com, the local numbers have jumped 4 cents from Tuesday's and last week's average of 100.9, and 7 cents up from last month's average of 97.9, to an average of 104.9 cents per liter.

The highest average recorded for this date was 126.3 in 2012, while the lowest was 99.9 in 2009. Compared to the previous few years, 2017 has shown more moderate trends.
