Habitat for Humanity Estevan hosted a Poker Tournament on Saturday to raise funds. Doug Barnstable shares, "it went quite well, we had a total of 63 players."

The Winners are as follows:
1st place: Heath Greenwood
2nd place: Clayton Story
3rd place: Trudy firth
4th place: Jesse Lester
5th place: Walter Hodgen

"Our gross was around $9,000 and $5,000 goes out in prize money. The funds raised are going to Habitat for Humanity and will go towards our next build in June of 2019."

Barnstable adds, "I just wanted to express our appreciation for all the volunteers. We had dealers that were volunteers as well as volunteers who helped out Greg Hoffart, who was our pit boss and Travis Frank who was involved as well with the media part of it, as far as handling the computer systems and handling the tournament operations. We appreciate the Elks for hosting us. We thanks all the players who came, we appreciate the support. From the feedback, it looks like everyone had a great time."
