The construction of Estevan's first ever Habitat for Humanity house build was a major achievement for the group and they are looking forward to duplicating their successes.

"We're looking at next year for our home," shared Doug Barnstable with Estevan's Chapter of Habitat for Humanity. "Build #2 in May of next year. We're spending most of this year on the fundraising side of it and we'll be looking forward to hopefully start pounding nails back in May of 2019."

"The family selection process is being worked together with Regina, our affiliate with Habitat. We're looking at putting the family selection process in place this summer."

He shared that the success of last year's build was a real positive for the group.

"That was a good experience. A real adventure for some of us. We really do appreciate the community's support. Especially a lot of the major suppliers and the gift-in-kind donors. there's just so many that I couldn't get through them all."
