The City of Estevan is taking advantage of the nice weather to put a fresh coat of paint along city streets and sidewalks. They are beginning with priority one streets and school zones before moving on to do the rest of the city.

"Two line paint crews will be working this year," explained City Safety Officer, Helen Fornwald, "one on the north side, and one on the south side of the city."

"The public is asked to slow down, obey all speed limits at 30 km/hr including all construction signage."

"Line painting will be zoned off by pylons."

"The public is reminded to pay attention to crosswalk painting as well as the arrows at intersections. These areas are high traffic areas where complete focus and attention is required by motorists and pedestrians."

"We thank you for your cooperation."
