Another year goes into the books for the Estevan Kinsmens Club, with a variety of noteworthy and successful events to look back on.

"We had a great year," shared Byron Stepp, who went on to share what stood out to him from 2017.

"Obviously there was the new rink in our Kinpark with the Kinsmen and Kinnettes involved was the biggest highlight. It's been built and funded so far, to this stage anyhow, with more progress coming next year."

So that airs the question...what is next on the agenda for 2018?

"I don't know exactly what the committees' made for a decision, but I think they're leaning towards a brand new warm up shack, a whole new building there. Sounds like there will be a Zamboni on location, so the ice will be very well cared for. In a dream world, maybe even putting a roof over top of the skating surface," Stepp revealed.
