The Kinsmen Club of Estevan wrapped up another year of Christmas Tree and Wreath Sales.

Preston Majeran, "Yah, this year tree sales went good, we ended up having a few left over, but were done for the year. And a lot of happy families got some trees."

Majeran commented on the variety of items sold this year, "We just had the one style and then some Christmas wreaths this year, and we got them from up North by Prince Albert."

"Final totals aren't in as of yet, but we made some money for the community. We will be looking forward to handing that out, to the different projects that we have going."

The Kinsmen have been fundraising for a couple years to have the outdoor hockey rink put in KinPark. They are patiently waiting to see if we start to get the weather we need to have it up and operational for the season. Majeran adds, "We appreciate all the support that the city has given us, and hopefully mother nature is going to start cooperating. So we can put the ice into the outdoor rink that we have. We've gotten a lot of phone calls, and questions asking us when we're going to put the ice in. Its all up to mother nature, and hopefully we will be putting the ice in sooner rather than later."
