Good news for residents in Lampman, and those who use their water supply. The water advisory that has been in place since mid-March has been lifted.

"The water advisory was on," explained Greg Wallin, Administrator for the Town of Lampman, "because we had to shut the town water off due to a water break."

"The water break was fixed last week and then you have to get the clear samples through to make sure that the water is good. They came through now and we were advised that we could take the boil water advisory off."

Wallin adds that work has already started on their water treatment plant.

"There has been some and there will be some more in the near future. We're at the mercy of the people who are doing the work when they can come and do it. It'll be in the spring sometime."
