Residents of Lampman are still stuck boiling their water before using it, as the Town of Lampman finishes their maintenance and upgrades on their water treatment plant.

"We are still continuing to do repairs," said Mayor Sean Paxman, "Most of the work's been done, now we're just waiting for a few more materials to get in, and anticipate within the next couple weeks that they'll be wrapped up then everything should be good to go."

He added that the water advisory is just a formality. It was originally put in place a couple months ago due to high turbidity in the water, then extended to cover the work in the plant.

"The rest of the materials should be here later next week, and then it's just a matter of getting that equipment installed."

The water sample phase will also take approximately a week to conduct before the advisory is lifted.
