Officers with the Canadian Border Services Agency seized a 9mm pistol on July 3, 2018.

An Alaska bound man was travelling from the US through the Coronach border crossing. After an examination, officers located a 9mm pistol that was not declared. He was arrested and issued a $1,000 penalty and then allowed to return to the States.

CBSA advises all travellers to either leave your firearms at home or declare them at your first opportunity.
