One of the staples at every United Way Telethon is the performance of students from different schools in the southeast.

"We get all the schools down," shared President, Travis Frank. "They have a great love for United Way. They raise more money than you can imagine doing their dance-offs or lunches or whatever they need to do to raise money. And they just love it and that's something that we feel is so important because it is what our future is."

And it's not just the performances that make the Telethon a success, it's the energy the kids bring that adds so much to the event.

"The buzz of these kids coming to the telethon is just so exciting," added First Vice President, Becca Ford

"Every single year these kids come. The teachers have put in endless hours getting these kids to learn their songs and dance."

"We've got all age ranges from kindergarten to Grade 8 singing and dancing. We have grandparents coming, we have parents coming, aunts and uncles coming and they all come with a donation. All of these schools also come and they've raised money through bake sales or personal donations and it's very exciting."
