It was another big year for the Tim Hortons Smile Cookie campaign.

"We are are so excited," shared Mandy Irwin, one of the owners of the Tim Hortons on King Street. "We sold 5,730 cookies in the seven days last week. Last year we sold around 5,400 at our location. Excellent support and participation from the community."

"With donation we received, it's $5737.30 is what is going to the St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation from us."

"For this year, our reason for choosing them is the wide reach. We know that St Joseph's Hospital is something the majority of the community uses and we wanted to make sure that we could reach the largest amount of people possible."

The 4th Street location also raised $1914 bringing the total for Estevan up to $7651.30.

She adds that they hope to receive input from the community to where they would like to see the funds go in the future.

"It's people from the community supporting it so we'd love to take some suggestions and see where we could go with it for next year."
