The Broken Arrow Ranch Lovely Ladies Luncheon was held on Saturday to help raise money for Broken Arrow Youth Ranch. The Luncheon was a huge success with many ladies who came out to enjoy themselves. The event held a silent auction, live auction as well as great food, a lot of socializing and a true story told by a guest speaker that has used services close to what Broken Arrow Ranch has to offer. Broken Arrow Youth Ranch strives to help families in times of need, the saying "It takes a village to raise a child" is exactly what Broken Arrow is all about. Their desire is for the children to grow and become contributing members of society.

"I was thrilled, thrilled with the turnout, I think the ladies really enjoyed themselves," shared Todd Moroz the Director of Ministry for Broken Arrow Ranch. I was so grateful to the help of our hockey team, the Broken Arrow Bruins, they did a wonderful job of serving the ladies and I think it was a fun event. I'm thrilled with all the money that was raised and the awareness for what we do to help families heal and grow. I couldn't be happier."

"The Southeast Saskatchewan Area has been a huge blessing to Broken Arrow all these years and it points to the fact that this is the greatest place on Earth to raise families. The people of Saskatchewan are the most generous I know and all I can do is say thank-you."

They raised a total of $14,000 between the luncheon, ticket sales from the Goat Raffle and the ticket sales from their Blue Jays Raffle that is still ongoing until May.

The winner of their goat raffle was Raymond and Amy Veroba of Lampman.
